Is "perfect" enough? Want more? Cowboy is calm, friendly to people and dogs (not cat-tested), loves to play, polite, house-trained, low-maintenance, sweet, gentle, currently lives in a multi-dog household, not pushy, no food aggression, no resource-guarding, does not jump up on you, quiet, thoughtful (yes, he sits and observes and ruminates!) and cute cute cute! Cowboy is a happy dog with no axe to grind and no agenda. He is a trusting soul who would make a wonderful companion to the young or the elderly. He is such a good listener! Please note the following: Cowboy needs to have a companion dog. He LOVES to play. Also, Cowboy has a grade IV heart murmur (but is asymptomatic) and has bilateral "floating" patellas. He has no pain, no difficulty ambulating or running, and does not require any medical or surgical intervention for the condition at this time.

Adoption fees are $200 unless otherwise stated.  Senior residents of Dot's Old Dogs Home are generally not available for adoption.  100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected chained/penned dog or yard-sale dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest.

Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; grooming (if applicable); heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter.

Please contact us if you have questions about our adoptable dogs, we would love to talk to you!
